Team workspaces keep files, CDN configuration, integrations, workflows, and activity together. A workspace can have multiple owners so access does not depend on one person’s account.

Roles

The billing owner is the account currently attached to the workspace plan. Additional owners provide administrative continuity without receiving access to that person’s payment details.

Add another owner

  1. Open the account menu in the dashboard and select Settings.
  2. Open Team.
  3. Invite the person as a Member or Admin if they are not already in the workspace.
  4. In Members, change their role to Owner and confirm the change.
Role changes are recorded in workspace activity. The billing owner cannot be demoted or removed while they remain the billing owner.

Billing-owner account deletion

Before deleting the billing-owner account:
  • recurring billing must already be cancelled;
  • at least one other active workspace owner must exist; and
  • the billing owner selects the co-owner who will inherit the workspace.
The workspace, its content, and its configuration transfer to the selected owner. The former owner’s subscription, customer record, overage settings, and payment details do not transfer. The workspace immediately uses the successor’s own plan, which is Free unless that account already has paid access. The cancelled subscription remains associated with the departing customer and cannot charge again after its scheduled cancellation. If there is no co-owner, promote an existing member before deleting the billing-owner account. Deleting a non-billing owner removes only that person’s account and membership; it does not change workspace billing. Keep at least two owners on production workspaces. Use Admin for people who need infrastructure and member management but should not be able to promote owners. Use Member for people who only need to create and work with shared content.
